| I thought that an espically fine way to look at things! They certainly have found the right man to head up things up at X-Box.

| Shane Kim must think we're all as stupid as he is. “We certainly regret the issues that some customers have experienced with Xbox 360, which is why we took the step of extending our warranty to an unprecedented three years,” Regret? Shame would be more accurate. Microsoft intentionally failed to test any of the units, and simply shipped them out untested. Then lied about it, saying that very few units suffered from their Red Ring of Death fault. |

| Actually, if you have already got a HD-DVD player for your Xbox, the impending end of the HD-DVD should mean prices for films plummet, meaning you can add to your HD movie collection cheaply, and I do believe you can *cough* back them up to your PC as well? So you can get the films you want, then, when the Blu-Ray drops in price, you can switch to that ![]()

However, if your HD-DVD player fails to work in the future, and you can't replace it, you'll have a whole load of movies you can't watch. Backing-up HD-DVDs to a hard drive would be some tedious task with each movie being 15GB or larger. |
