Setup question

I have a C-Media 6 channel sound card and just bought Logitech X540 Sound system. The Logitech manual doesn't tell me how to connect to the sound card and the color codes are different. The sound card has 4 jacks colored pink-green-blue-and red. The speaker connection jacks are cooled black-green-and orange.
Of coarse trial & error got music but I don't know if I've got it right. Anybody know what the right combination is?

I have never seen a red jack before. Black green and orange are usually the standard. Does the sound card tell you which ports do what?

* Pink = Microphone In (mono)
* Blue = Line-In (stereo)
* Green = Line-Out / Front Speakers / Headphones
* Orange = Center Speaker and Subwoofer
* Black = Rear Surround Speakers (5.1, 7.1 systems)
* Grey = Mid Surround Speakers (7.1 systems)

You may have to tell your sound card that you are using 5.1 speakers and it should show you in the software which ports to use.

The sound card I have here is a Sound Blaster Vibra 16 & the red jack is for TAD in-what ever that is.
