Me thinks this is a very good thing for the end customer like us!
This also has me rethinking Nvidia for my next card(s), because most of the "High end" Intel boards will only use ATi in Crossfire & with the prices and performance of these new ATi cards, it would be a win win scenario.

I'm Positive that Nvidia will take notice this this and lower further prices of some of it's older 8 series cards which is also great!

But I can imagine the performance of 2-4870 X2 cards in crossfire! I'm sure it would be awesome Graphics devastation!!!
