Yea true, but I wonder how this card would do with playing an intensive graphics game like FarCry 2 with everything turned up...

I really don't understand what the specs mean on this either...

Quadros can be slow with some games. I don't know if this new card is slow in gaming, certainly not designed with gaming in mind.

It would render top notch realistic graphics for movies, using far more effects than our cards can do.

That's not done on the fly real-time though.

Just nVidia's marketing lingo for a Stream Processor, which was nVidia's marketing lingo for the Pixel Shader fragment of the now fragmented Pixel Pipeline back when 96 Stream Processors sounded cooler than 96 Shaders.

Yea, I got one of those graphics cards with 96 streaming processors aka shaders.

CUDA is nVidia's terminology for their stream processing environment. It covers everything from the cores on the GPU through to the C compiler used to compile the code.
