Video Card issue

I have an Asus EN8500GT TOP which is working perfectly fine with my system. I bought a Power Color Radeon HD 2600XT to get a little more juice but i keep having problems at boot time.

when i first installed that card it worked fine, then i tried a reboot and got 5 beeps from the sys. i reseated the card and still got 5 beeps. i then cleared the cmos and the card work, but then again after rebooting the system i got 5 beeps.

if put my asus card it works fine with no issues. I don't know that the Radeon card is bad because it does work some times.

here are my specs.

OS = Win 7 32bit
mobo = asus p5k-e wifi/ap
mem = 2 x 2gb carsair dominators
drives = 3 x SATA and 4 x SAS
DVD-rw
fans = 6
1 LSI controller for the SAS drives
1 water pump
480 WATT seasonic PS

I don't know the power draw of the Radeon vs. the nVidia card, but it just might be, with all the other hardware (especially those 4 SAS and 3 SATA drives) that your 480w PSU isn't up to the added load.

thats what i thought, but i disconnected my 3 SATA drives and tried to power up again and got the same beeps.

by the way i researched the beep codes. im getting 1 long beep and 3 short ones. that means no VGA detected.
