Hmm. The screenshots reveal some interesting stuff, and there is apparently a bit of a graphics performance gain, but it's not enough of one as yet for me to potentially break my graphics for it...or folding production.

Think I'll wait and see when these go to WHQL.

Have you tried using a Download Manager?
I have used Internet Download Accelerator for years I really like it as it doesn't add or install anything that's not wanted by the user.
I'm having no problems at all downloading with IDA v5.1.2.
I'm using an older version of it as it still works fine for me.

I'm downloading the Vista 32bit drivers now & I'll test them out a bit later today & let you know if there's any improvement over the current drivers I'm using which are v182.06 WHQL Vista 32bit released 2-13-09.

Edit: Download completed successfully for the GeForce_185.20_beta_WinVista_32bit drivers using IDA.

Thumbs down Testing Results for Beta driver 185.20, Not Good...

The first thing that popped up after installing these drivers & rebooting was Windows saying that my copy of W7 was NOT Genuine!
So it did something to the systems files that W7 didn't like...
No matter I just wanted to test these beta drivers out!

The test results for the newest WHQL drivers v182.06 were Outstanding! (Screenshot below P7123)
This is the best benchmark I've gotten on Vantage @ 3.30GHz to date!

On the other hand the test results for the Beta drivers I can't tell you, as every single time I tried to run Vantage it Crashed my system seconds into the bench.
So I can't give you a comparison at all between the 2 drivers...
After the 3 failed attempts at trying to get a Vantage benchmark I reinstalled my
Acronis backup image because I didn't trust my W7 OS files anymore after that driver installation & was done with it...
Also, the new setting "Ambient Occlusion" in the Nvidia control panel didn't show for my card...just wasn't there.

So...if you want to give the 185.20 BETA drivers a try be my guest but for me all it did was CRASH my system...

BUT, I can recommend the new WHQL 182.06 drivers as they have Outstanding performance & Vantage benchmarks!

I notice that the 185.20 Drivers also install PhysX 8.11.18.
There is a stand alone install of PhysX 9.09.00.10.
What is the sequence for this?
Install drivers and then Physx 9? or Oppiite?

I do get annoyed when it doesn't run smooth. And it's jus me but I've found that an ordrely install of drivers an programs works real well with XP. Vista x64 has a learning curve.

What I did was extract all the files to a folder & replaced the existing PhysX drivers with the updated ones.
Then installed the drivers which installed the newest PhysX instead of the older 8 series drivers.

Even still as I said, it was a crash & burn running these beta Nvidia drivers on my system!

Btw, the newest PhysX drivers are PhysX_9.09.0203_SystemSoftware which are included in the 182.06 driver package.
Just extract the driver package to a folder & copy the PhysX drivers out of it to another location, such as a folders named Nvidia PhysX drivers.
That's what I do.

Does Winrar rip it and put the new ones in?

Before I do ANY reinstall I copy all contents of MY documents aka User flder and put it on a seperate drive and anything else I would like to keep then wipe the OS drive :P or If only one drive just make a "SAVE THIS" folder put everything in there or send the files over my network to a seperate pc :P

Always a good practice

also if you dont wipe at all everything is recoverable in the windows.000 folder just take ownership of it (if you just reinstall it makes a seperate folder with all your old junk in it)(
