What I think looks absolutely amazing is how the new Fermi renders hair using DX11 & Tessellation.
Looks totally real!
It will be very cool looking once it's applied to characters in games, although you'll more than likely need to be running SLI to do it full out while rendering the game too with any framerate.

This vid was titled incorrectly as it's for the 400 GPU series aka GTX 480, 470 & not the GT 200.

Well the hair has been done quite allrigh even back when 3D Mark 2003 came on the market. Remember the Trolls Lair?

I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!

Has been doable for sometime, but never really used, because there's so many other stuff the GPU needs to be doing when playing a game, not just one hair do on one person.

TBH they now want to bring the focus on tesselation but physx should be to "blame" for this. Ah well....
