Trouble I have is my 8800GT is fast enough for pretty much anything atm. Even though its worth like $80.

$150 buys a second hand GTX285 which is a staggeringly fast card.

yea i hear you dsio my 8800gt can handle every new game at decent frames on high/medium. I've been waiting for something that will at the very least double performance for the price i paid for my 8800gt. But its looking like i will be waiting for something that will quadruple performance, as there is no real need for me to upgrade with my monitor.

I love EVGA products! I'm running two 7900 GS in SLI and runs great!
I also recently purchased a 9800 GT and was shocked to see it DIDN'T require a 6-pin power connection.... how is that possible? The 8800 definitely requires a 6-pin so how can a newer card NOT have more power requirements?

thats strange. It seems like with the newer cards that are coming out the power requirements are higher than the performance. I would buy a card down the road that was a gtx 4xx equivalent that uses half the power. Because at the moment thats the only thing i can see getting really better with all of the newer tech.
