I will be installing this game either tomorrow or the wekend and will report how it tax's a single 465 and how it performs in SLI and how it performs with one 465 running the game and one just doing the physx.

Did you get a chance to run those benchmarks Necorum? I'm still trying to figure out whether having dedicated PhysX capability is worthwhile.

64 fps same settings as prev run 1 vid card as physx and one as gfx

OCed cpu to 3.6 with ram @ 1600 mhz versus prev setting of 1497mhz

I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!

So after beating Mafia 2 I have to say that SLI is not the way to go. Use one card as physx only and one as a gpu unless you have tri sli. then 2 in sli and one for physx


From best setup to worse dual gpu's
Gpu /w deticated physx card (gpu close to same performace or same gpu series)
Gpu's in sli (physx selected on auto select, card 1 or card 2 all same fps)
Gpu /w physx on cpu or gpu's in sli /w physx on cpu (same fps [low])

Disabling SLI and selecting card 2 as physx only gave me a 10 fps boost on average
