The 4200 whoops the 8500s ***. And after reading many upon many reviews the visual quality is up to par with the 8500 now. I am saving my pennies and biding my time till the price lowers a tad more

uh.. yeah, what Samuknow said. I'll probably get one to upgrade my old Radeon after the new top dogs push this one down in price some, maybe late summer.

Edit: and the 3.5ns mem is supposed to make for a real easy overclock.

If you can find one with that memory (think Gainward released a more expensive 4200 with fast memory, but it defeats the purpose of an economy card ).

The Gainward 4200 w/o tv out is the one I was thinking of. I think it goes for under 160 shipped, @ newegg. I want the card, I'm just waiting for the price to come down.

Check price-watch. 148 shipped for a 3.5 ns Gainward...I am watching it like a hawk...

[Pinky kicks himself]

I should have waited a few months instead of rushing to get the Ti4400
