#&$%ing mouse!

my mouse keeps jumping to the bottom left of the screen! its optical, i have a new mousepad (have to use one to keep the finish from coming off the tabletop) that has areas of all one color so they *might* be jacking up the sensor...

just a suggestion here: DONT BUY MS INTELLMICE, they $&CK! (al least the 3btn type) the cords are weak and if they get bent they die, i had one with a "physco" btn that always dbl clicked and now this... MUST KILLL THEM ALL!!!!!!!

Man, sorry about your mouse issues.
I personally LOVE my MS Optical mouse, it's one of the first ones, not the double laser. It works fantastic in graphics and gaming, and I've had it about 6 months, at least.
Best thing is, you NEVER have to clean the stupid gummy bears out of the roller anymore /

I eschew MS products when possible. Riddle me this: My Logitech Optical squeeked as it was moved for a few days. No moving parts. Any ideas?
