| How can i overclock my GeForce2? How can i overclock my GeForce2 GTS Pro Chipset? "BTW its got a FAn and heatsink that use to be on my XP2000+" should cool!

| Like The Spyder said, You'll often hear members refer it these distortions as "Tearing" They are not immediately harmful to your card, BUT they are a sign you've gone a bit to far and should back off until they disappear again.. Same with freezes and lockups during a game or while benchmarking.

| Yes, when you get get "artifacts" or random pixels that shouldn't be there, your pushing your card too far. And when your system freezes up then you defiantly pushed it to far.

| Careful...... Overclock slowly in small increments  I think I killed my GeForce 2 Pro by overclocking the memory too far.What happens was that after a few mins inside windows all video would be lost. The screen goes blank. Swapped it out with an old TNT2 card to check. System booted fine without the loss of video. Another symptom was when I POST, the letters and numbers would start to become garbled.......
