PC Power & Cooling Fan Mod

was thinking of replacing the fan inside my PSU with something a little more quiet. The fan in there pushes 37CFM at 42dBA. I can I can find plenty of fans that push that much air or more and quieter...

anyone ever have one open?

yeah. other than the "warrenty void if removed"sticker not much to owrry about. On mine it had a fan conector that I had never seen befor. But other than that it was a standar 80mm fan. EZ to change out.

I took a look after I posted. I was thinking about replacing the existing fan with the fan I use to cool my CPU(it is quieter and pushes more air, plus it has a motherboard connection to detect RPM). Then I am going to use an adapter and mount a 120mm fan to my heat sink. Cooler PSU, cooler CPU, and 10+dBa quieter...
