rubber eh? Never seen one of those before. well, I lost cable, so I'm not going to be able to reply that quickly. Well, due to stormy weather, I didn't get over to my cousins, but I'll be able to on monday. I've got an 8gb drive I may throw in, but I wouldn't mind thorowing in a smaller one because I'm a drive short now... Now I also have to figure out the power and reset switches. I don't think it'll be that touch though. Looks pretty simple actually.

Power and reset are simple, take the old plastic connectors off a case, or just solder some twisted pair cable on yourself, and connect a momentary push to make switch across them (ATX this is)

that's all it is

i turn my 2nd PC on with a screwdriver cause I screwed the power switch

I was thinking we could use the reset switch (it's a momentary) for power, and not actually hook the power switch to anything. I never use my reset switch anyway.

i take it the nes's power switch isnt momentary?

well if you can switch it on and off within 5 seconds you can use it as a power switch I spose

or replace it?

but anything momentary will do, christ rig up a potential divider with a few megohm resistor and put 2 staples through the case and you can use them with your fingers!

It's a simple switch. would be very easy to disable the clicky thing in it to make it momentary... (So technical.... "clicky thing" .... Yer really wow'n em now boy... )

Let me guess, using the highly technical tool known as a pair of wire cutters?

that's what I use to remove everything

I'd be careful, though, as wire cutters are a highly sophisticated piece of machinery, and should only be operated by certified technicians.

The wonders of modern technology.

Yeah, I can remove the clicky part, and just run two wires. It won't be tough at all. You guys are almost over my head with all those big words you used.
