Anyone ever do this?

One could slice a(defunct) four layer mainboard into four separate pieces, like a cake. If you had the proper diamond saw or laser. This is a wacky idea, of course, but it would be educational. Anyone hear of this being done?

Mmm. Molten lead fumes, they have to be good for you. Did I read that all of the nForce2 mainboards are six-layered?

But those via's. How in the world are the via's connected properly in multi layered PCB?
