Cool SHARP 234500-190 LCD Hacking

Hi, I just aquired a SHARP 234500-190 LCD panel and would like to get it up and running. It has a connector with 20 connectors on one side and 21 on the other. In addition to that there are two other wires comming out the bottom that look as if they were powering the light for the backlit function. Is there any way to directly wire the output into a vga connector? And if i would need to get an adaptor would there be one that is on a single board that will convert it to vga so i don't have to put a special card into the computer?

Is it just the LCD panel, or does it have the driver board as well? If it is just the panel without a driver, then you are looking at a lot of work. In addition, from your description, it sounds as though it may be a very limited dot matrix kind of display (though I do not know the particulars of this panel).

Have you tried Sharp's web site and looked for documentation on this panel?
