| Well, do you have the controller? You can get Xbox-PC converters from Lik-Sang, maybe you could use one of those? |

| Depends how 'standard' it appears to the XBox would be my guess. I know there are some drivers to talk to XBox pads. If it's appearing to the XBox as a standard controller, then the chances are good with a driver. If it appears as a standard HID device, then you wouldn't even need a driver for the PC to talk to it.

| xbcd driver....once you instal that, you can instal any generic driver that matches your config. the xbcd d river already supports way more buttons than what is on the xbox s-typre controller, so it just might be your best bet. ![]()

| The controllers are very expensive now aren't they? Just had a look on ebay, £62 for the cheapest one with 4 days left! Plus £20 shipping, ouch! Suppose you could sell the game that comes with it for a bit of buffer. You would probably get about £25-30 for the game on it's own. |

| xbcd driver only has alpha support for the Steel Battalion controller. vtchid is a driver specifically designed for the Steel Battalion controller however! As far as selling the game seperately - forget it. The Steel Battalion game requires the controller to operate. It will not work without it. As there were only 2000 copies brought into the UK, don't be surprised at the high price. The controller is also not likely to work with any other game either! Mind you, a controller with seven axes, 32 buttons and ten modifiers is a real beast of a controller. Looks like it'd play Robotron pretty well too.

| I was just saying, as he doesn't have an Xbox he doesn't really need the game, and the game seperately sells pretty often on ebay, it was just an idea as to generate some buffer cash for the high price. IE he pays £100 for the controller, but sells the game for £30 as he has no use for it, becuase he doesn't have an xbox to play it on he's only paid £70 for the controller. Capiche? |

i just really like the controller To be honest, i remember using somthing like it in a arcade once, although, with alot less buttons! the price is quite high, but when you consider the price of a decent yoke or joystick its not much more, and as a bonus i get a reason to possibly get an xbox! i guess steel batallion is some kind of mech game? whatever, should work pritty well with mech warrior 4 edit: that page for drivers is all in japenese, i dont suppose there is a english version is there?
