Dual power supplies

I need more power, so I'm thinking of making I own case full custom job. I'm thinking of putting to 500 watt power supplies in it but couldn't find any threads here on how to do it. So now I'm asking. What do I need, and are there any little problems that can pop up that I should know about.

Connect them using this: http://www.coolpc.com.au/catalog/pro...roducts_id=630

Or you could wire it up yourself.

As for fitting them in the case...get a server case and a dremel and let your imagination go.

Lightbulb

I have a system with 2 Shuttle 250W PSUs. I use 2 identical since a year and without any problems.

I connected them this way:

ATX connector 1 ATX connector 2
green------------------green
black------------------black

the green one is @ pin14 (standard 20pin connector) =PS_ON
black =ground (maybe not requiered, but better if you do this )

Do it on your own risk, but this should work

"The motherboard installation section essentially said "refer to motherboard manual for installation instructions". My motherboard manual of course said "refer to case manual for further installation instructions"."
