Give geeks .com a few days. I bought a board from them that had to be replaced twice. It did take some time for them to get back to me.

So you can see your bios and boot up POST but nothing once your in windows?

Yeah geeks not answering e-mail at all. So it was a wrong investment. Ok. Its almost forgotten issue for me but i'll tell you one more time what was happening.

Its shows artifacts in boot post, also on on windows loader screen. It will work under windows but when the drivers are not installed. (or in safe mode) After installing drivers and rebooting the windows screen going crazy every where too many artifacts , video dissortion many colorful lines, and which is bad, its impossible to work (get driver details, go to managment console etc. freezing screen not refreshing, Picture in picture everywhere. ) By the way i was posting in here all the details http://www.mvktech.net/component/opt.../limitstart,0/
if some one interested.

So my question is. Is it possible to get this card repaired , change something or HOW TO DESTROY it. ??

By the way its a NV41chip with HSI bridge (PCI-E to AGP)

With your temps as high as you told me, I would absolutely look into after market cooling. I went back to water on my GPU again to keep the temps down. Plus it does wonders for the noise level...

I have used the XFX6800gs for 6 months.... do you believe that I have never done any overclocking before. After I found this website, it's like the motivation!!! I have read through the instruction on the first page, and I follow that.
==> This is problem I encountered
After flashing the bios, I restart the PC, then after the window xp loading, the monitor show strange display for fer second, then everything shut down Y_Y. i have to do the "biosback" so that i can use the PC as normal. SO, what have I done wrong????

Please help, thanks.

The original is 350/500, I have clocked it to be 428/1070 before modding the bios pipeline 12/5 (my card can not go to 16/6 Y_Y)
I set the mod bios as 450/1110, I just wonder now is my problem consequence from the disable pipeline? Does this modification require 16/6 ??

Thank you for your answer

Your GPU may be a little high. Try backing it down to stock and see if it will boot. Do a normal oc, OC it in windows to make sure it can handle the OC you want to flash it to before flashing the bios....

I tried but get the same result.... WTH?!?!?
350/500(1000) as defaults but modding is still disappointed.
Or maybe this card is black sheep??
