Buffalo readies 1.2GHz DDR 2 DIMM set

Japanese memory retailer CFD has said Buffalo will soon ship DDR 2 memory modules clocked to a whopping 1.2GHz, claiming the parts can be set to run even faster: 1.25GHz for a PC2-10000 rating.

I would really like to see a mem bandwith comparison. the speed is great but pretty high latency. Are we really gaining that much?

look for 7200-8000mb/sec Intel, and 10k-11k AMD. STill just Micron-based D9 IC's tho, so I'm VERY un-impressed. Ram prices on the rise again!
