I need a decent p4 DDR motherboard that has OC options. perferably an intel chipset. For low $$$
This is my 2nd venture into p4 since the willimate days (fried my 1.6 willie) so I dont know what is good anymore.

Newegg has the Albatron 845PE for $93 and Anandtech seemed to like it real well. I am strongly considering it to replace my Asus P4B266-c but will wait to see if Asus comes with a stripped PE board.

Edit: Link did not work, just look up Albatron and 845PE at Newegg.

I am well pleased with the Albatron PX845E PRO II
I'am at 160FSB/213cas2-3-5-3
And the board is stable as a rock. If it had more than 2.8 vdimm
I'm sure my mem would hit 220.

I picked it up at Frys for $69, and it's performing allmost as well as my Abit IT7, but 100 bucks cheeper.

P4 2.4B
Corsair Value Select PC 2700

OH and it actuly over volts just a little, insteed of the usual under volting most mobos do now days.

Example choose 2.8vdimm in BIOS and it measures 2.84v on pin1
in the dimm slot

I'm perfectly happy with my Soltek SL85ERV. I bought it from NCIX but they now inly carry the newer versions. Some with VIA chipsets and some with the newer Intel's.

Cool ASUS

may not be cheap (around $150), but the P4B533E pretty much has everything, and is a good clocker's board.

have one on the way, i was so impresssed with the last system i built based on this combo i am replacing the aging PIII backup system with the P4 setup. delivered a 2.4 running @2.99gig, stock heatsink and fan.

customer is happy as a pig in slop, and he has been rendering and burning DVD's, solid as a rock.
