DDR 400 or else?

Hi everyone !!!!!!!!!
I have decided not to upgrade until Athlon 64 is available, but I want to take advantage of the wait by scrounging together 1GB of memory in time for its arrival
It seems that now that Intel decided to go 800 Mhz FSB, DDR 400 is going to be big.
My question is, is this the way to go ??
Will Athlon 64 support it (eventually) or is DDR 333 good enough?
Does Athlon 64 even have a FSB ?? I find it a bit confusing........

Speculating about what may or may not be does get confusing. I suggest waiting until hammer actually hits retail to make a move on memory or otherwise. That way we will know for sure what the specs will be.

S_Wilson offers good advice. I can't tell you how easy it is to screw yourself by trying to anticipate the big changes to come. The manufactures are ALWAYS making last minute changes and surprises are always poping up.

Cash keeps and prices drop, hold out until you KNOW what is to be.

No problem! You just go me all excited thinking that I would be able to talk P4's with someone. Oh well, maybe another time.
