Yay - got 44 extra MHz!

In my eternal quest for better folding times, I decided to do 'the wire trick' to get more Vcore out of my P3-700E cB0. It was running @980 with 1.90v on an Abit BE6-II.

I am using a Soltek slotket, and I have been playin with it before to reach more speeds. It has LOTS of jumpers to play with, and before performing the wire trick, I decided to give it another go with the slotket jumpers... and voila! I set the slotket to 1.95v core, and now I am able to set the Vcore in bios, ranging from 1.30 to 2.10! Before, max was 1.90.

I am currently running at 1024MHz, its better than the 980 I was running just an hour ago. I know it isn't much, but hey - it all counts. Temps are good as well, using Glaciator and ASII.

I'll perhaps try to squeeze a little more out of her one of these days.. so far I'm just happy to have gained 44 MHz. Stupid me, the option was there all along, for the life of me I can't understand why I didn't play some more with those jumpers when I first got the kit.

Anyway, I'm happy! Thought I would share with ya'll.

Nice one. Every bit helps.
I have pair of Soltecs too for my celerons. Good thing too, since they need 1.95v and 2.00 volts to be stable. (and they're both being cooled by gorbs still.)

With the Glaciator, you could probably juice it up even more.

I love my slotkets.
