I know nothign about intel mobos/cpus
Im more of a amd person myself, anyone know some sites I could read to learn?

Why not click on the "Guides" tab that's on top of Anandtech's Front Page? A bit of poking about should serve you well. That's dubya dubya dubya dot anandtech dot com .

www.tomshardware.com also has good info, at least on P4's. With a tip of the hat to Dr Surlyjoe.

Welcome to AOA's Forums, Howard!

While there is more action in the AMD Topic Heading, we definitely welcome Intel centric posts!

We've had threads about Via's recent processors, a Transmeta notebook and a vintage Cyrix CPU. MIPS processor's in SGI workstations are mentioned occasionally as are Sun's SPARC CPU's.

The physical arrangement of the cooling for the processor's in Cray's SV1 rated some column inches not too long ago. Fascinating!

Hello Cloasters,

I remember you from another forum, which will go nameless, and of course Danial too. I'm not as knowledgeable as many others in this or other forums, but I have been overclocking intel chips for about 4 years now. So if I can help, I'd be glad too...
