The case badge with benighted's name on it is starting to moan in the middle of the night. If it's disappointed for too long it may turn feral. Hope this doesn't happen, I hate taking a case badge to the pound!

Do you buy things with cash to avoid the credit card companies keeping track of your movements and buying habits? As the gummint in My Fair Country shamelessly knows too much about my every move and transaction for comfort, paying with cash seems to help keep some info out of their prying little minds. Why bother avoiding Biggest Brother? For all I know, the magnetic strips in our currency may be snitching on us. Why care, I have nothing to hide? The Germans consoled themselves with that thought, too.
I'd rather not be a Good German. OMG, They just read that. Paranoid? Could be.

AOA Forums case badges are snitch proof, buy one today. But seriously, they are free, Free, FREE. Offensee yer buttensee, get your's while they last! Simply send a Private Message to cloasters if you live on the West side of the Atlantic, or PM dod if you don't.

Do I need a laptop? I go nowhere most of the time and I don't need to stay in touch with my PC at work very often. I fly infrequently, so how could I justify spending ~$2400 for an IBM real deal notebook? I can't, so it would be a toy and status symbol rather than a needed tool. How about a ~$1200 one instead? Same deal, sigh. Hang on, saving my cc from abuse isn't a bad thing. Just un-American. Too bad, carrying a significant load of debt isn't smart, especially in these -ushzarro times.

Getting one of our free case badges decreases your bottom line by 93 cents, for the SASE. Best investment opportunity in town!

I'm toying with the idea of replacing my teeth with titanium studs. They put fake teeth on the studs that look great. If'n you're an old phart with bad teeth, it's the only way to get a Hollywood smile with teeth that don't come out at night. The catch is that they cost $1500 each and no dental plan will pay for them. If you could get along with 12 on top and 12 on the bottom, they'd cost $36000. They are a mite painful to "install," as well. Too rich for my pocket book and I can't see begging for them on the street, "will not perspire for expensive dental work" isn't a crowd pleaser.
Taking good care of your teeth is the right thing to do.

We can't give away titanium case badges. It's not that the titanium is too expensive, etching or cutting, or stamping the words "AOA Forums" into them is the big ticket. Order your free plastic AOA case badge from us toute de suite!

Just in case, the French phrase 'toute de suite,' pronounced 'toot sweet' in English means ASAP and no lollygagging. Do I detect an undercurrent of resistance in the membership to acquiring their very own blessed by the Pope very fine AOA forums free case badge?
OK, I admit that they are not really blessed by His Holiness. I'll perform a ceremony of your choice if you request it. But it's gonna cost ya. Not. We're open minded here on the AOA Forums free case badge processing team, your own case badge comes free of spells, hexes and blessings. All the more reason to get off yer tuffet, Ms Muffit and PM dod or me pronto.

OK, time for a little team spirit. I'd like to have ten PM's asking for an AOA Forums case badge by Wednesday. You've done it before, time for the Members without an AOA Forums case badge in their possession to grab one for themselves. Yeah, PMing me or dod is a lot of hard work. I know you can do it!

what you really need to do is get a new design for them. and use flat stickers rather than the dome style.

I'm told that Tulsa OK had only a few days of winter this last year. Wonder whether it costs more to air condition your manse than to heat it? Fear not, once applied to your PC's case, your AOA case badge will adhere dependably come snow or heat. You gotta order your FREE AOA Forums case badge before you can stick it on your case. You know whom to PM, so git to it!

Where never is heard a discouraging word and the skies are not cloudy all day. Inside who's brain? Used to know a chap who responded to "how ya doin?" with one and only one answer: Just fine, just fine.

I don't know if he believed himself, I grudgingly admit that self talk like this a good thing. He's probably the CEO of a large corporation by now, or perhaps retired very comfortably in some beautiful spot. I just hope that he is a better man than his father- I imagine that he is. Order your AOA case badge now, even one "just fine" will make your day easier.

Gear Acquisition Syndrome, also referred to as "GAS" can strike at any moment. It's an illness that affects us all, as long as you think you can afford the latest must have. I don't know how consumer's credit works outside of My Fair Country, but the rules for the credit card companies became extraordinarily lax under Our Fair Government. They can almost charge whatever interest rate they want to, and can change the interest that you pay on your outstanding balance any time they feel like it. Declaring bankruptcy is now nearly impossible, unless you're well off.

Contrary to what the banks would have you think, very few people wilfully declare bankruptcy. No fear, it's nearly impossible now. So the person that can no longer legally escape creditors they simply can't pay is in serious trouble. Most people that get into serious debt do so for one reason. Medical bills. When the choice is to die in solvency or live in debt, most people choose debt. And will lose everything they own, including the wheelchair. Heavy thoughts for a Monday. Hey, lighten up! Get off your posterior and send a Private Message to Monsieur dod in Scotland. Or Herr cloasters in the state of Warshington, Estados Unidos.

And I'm back. Hey, stop groaning the same thing will probably happen to you in your career on the Web. Starting at 7:30 in the morning on Wednesday, I simply could not get here. Elsewhere on the 'Net, no problem. AOA? Big problem. After discovering that other Members had no hassle getting here, I put aside the possibility that our Hosting service decided to change our IP numbers. So, what was the hang up? I simply got no DNS resolution for our URL. No how, no way. I flushed the caches of all my browsers to no avail.
After 48 hours of isolation from AOA, the light bulb feebly flickered to life. "Disconnect your phone line from the wall and pull the power plug to your router/modem for a few minutes young man."

Et voyla, I can connect to Us with all of my browers. That was APITA, I tell you!

I don't know if the fact that we are now in the 21st century has sunk home yet. It should have, but Dubaiya and gang are doing their best to drag us backwards. It's feudalism or bust for these...people. If I don't like it I should move to Russia? But the situation is worse in the CIS. Yes, but this doesn't give true weight to the "if you don't like it--leave" argument, which presupposes that all is hunky dory in my country. If nothing else, please register to vote this November. We sorely need to change the direction of our ship of state. It's not a right or left issue, it's the survival of our democracy. Vote, thank you!

We're not prejudiced about our case badges, Members of all political persuasions are very welcome to their own free AOA case badge. Act now, simply send a Private Message to me or dod!
