If you live in the US a total eclipse of the Moon(holds true for Canada, South America, the Pacific, Western Asia and Australia too) will happen in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 28th, beginning at 01:51 PDT(in the US) and ending at 05:24 PDT. It would be nice if it was a weekend, but Tuesday will have to do.
The total eclipse starts at 02:52 PDT and ends at 04:22 PDT.
The color of the moon can't be predicted, so be awake to find out. Or read it in the paper or on the Web.

Had a dream about it last night, spacey, or what?

Mars will be only 55 million miles away from us at Christmas. I don't think that a Martian eclipse will be featured.

I saw the eclipse, maybe it was just my location but it was a bust. Color, not even. Just a smoky dark, boring event. Where's my refund?

Back to nuts and bolts. If you haven't stuck one of our glorious case badges onto one of your machines, there's gonna be trubble in your neighborhood. You most likely have enough time to escape the aforementioned unpleasantness--if you send me a Private Message requesting le badge fantastique today. Tarry not, good citizen!

Among other things, the film makes it clear that what we consider industry and shipping facilities are a joke compared to those in China. We have next to nothing. But we don't export manufactured items like they do. Bit of an imbalance you might say.

But we export plenty of cotton and trees, that must be good.

We've become dang near a Third World plantation country. Rich are becoming richer as the middle class and poor get poorer. On the road to serfdom. Can the slide be arrested? Probably not, but you and I sure can. Watch what you say, they'll be calling you a radical, ooh, fanatical. Truth not accepted, expected, it's neglected. Selected for rejection, careful there Fred.

Good day. The time is 13:36 here in the emerald city. Upper case, my foot. One of them is size 13.5, the other 13. Finding shoes that fit is impossible, most people have smaller feet. Nordstrom is the only place I bother with. Or "Nordstroms" in the local patois. Like "Boeings" and "DemoineS." For some reason the gratuitous "s" at the end of some words that come without them is a tradition in this area. Makes you sound like a hick in Iowa. Please resume your regularly scheduled day, and thank you for your time.

"Snakes, snakes everywhere." Easy on the booze, Barney. Anyone ever see The Lost Weekend? Rather accurate portrayal of a mind gone insane from too much prolonged alcohol intake. Eek, it's bad folks. Avoid it!

20% of current mortgages in Our Fair Country are of the Sub-Prime category. People by the millions simply lied about their income and the mortgage sellers encouraged this dishonesty. "Sub Prime" means folks with less than great income prospects and assets. When residential real estate was reliably appreciating in value people "flipped" these houses before it was necessary to make many payments. Life was good. Hundreds of thousands of people are now losing these dwellings to the bank because their Sub Prime Adjustable Rate Mortgage payments have increased. And real estate is depreciating at a rate rivaling that of the Great Depression. Many people simply walk away from their homes because they can't pay ~20% more after the ARM bites them, plus the house is worth less day by day and selling it would still leave them in the hole. Not to mention that house sales have and are plummeting. And no one knows when the situation will improve.

It's a rigged game. The wealthy make money if the economy crashes and bring in the sheaves when it's doing well. Nice work if you can get it. Heart of anthracite required.

Still amazes me that coal will catch fire if you start the fire it right. Shiny rocks, really. Dang, the lamest set of thread updates ever. It's Monday. It's always excuses, isn't it? Well?

I never bite and I'm always polite, go ahead, send me a Private Message! How can one go another moment without an AOA case badge? They're still free, free, free.

In this day and age it's normal to think that nothing is free. Through sometimes bitter experience, we find that "free" means anything but. It usually means "run now!"

Our case badges are free in the genuine and complete sense of the word. PM me, you'll be glad you did.
