Beericles can happen any day of the week. St Patrick's Day is almost upon us(they especially love this day in the UK) and green beer will flow by the hogshead. Green beer, ugh.

If you're trying to give up alcohol or marijuana, take heart, it can be done. Nary a sip of one or a toke of the other has crossed my lips in nineteen years. Difficult to believe, yet it's true.

What strange meteorite, alignment of the stars or something in the water supply engendered the Beatles in Liverpool of all places many years ago? Like them or not, they were the modern equivalent of a Mozart or a Bach in musical composition talent.

OK, then vote for the new Party of Principle in November. It'll be too cool of an organization to appear on the ballot. Excellent, the system works!

It's possible that trillions in derivatives that float upon AAA rated(which means nothing we discovered) packaged debt will "unwind," collapsing banks by the dozens. If you can afford it, putting some silver and gold under your mattress is a good idea.

Not to worry, the gummint will most likely prevent many banks that are "too big to fail" from going under. That doesn't mean that the hundreds of thousands of homeowners facing foreclosure in the near future will get any help from Uncle Samuel. Privatised profits, welfare covered losses. As long as you stole big.

The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I think he's very funny. When is David Letterman going to give up? It's only momentum that keeps him going and he's boring. IMHO.

Craig Ferguson's monologue is fantastic. I saw a commercial for the show tonight, looks like he's going to mention this "fantastic badge I get to put on my computer" that came from some place called "ay-oh-ay."

"Remind you of anyone?" He does that superbly. His respectful sendup of Prince Charles, replete with ears from Mr Potato Head gets me every time.
