Dang it, ten second power outages don't make my day. Two of them, ugh.

Wow, there are actually 128 Gb USB memory sticks. To think that my first HDD was something like 40 Mb.. we've come a long way! Glad that 64 Mb of RAM was enough.

"Take me koala back, Jack, take me koala back." Don't know why, but "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport." is still a funny song.

If you're from Australia I bet it's a less popular song.

They still have my favorite National Anthem...

Matilda always just beyond our reach....but the music clear and the dance begun...

Australia's official short wave station's theme song is the first couple of bars of "Waltzing Matilda." I didn't know that it was their National Anthem too.

If you don't pause to think about it, people standing in the Southern Hemisphere can still seem to be on the verge of flying into space. Gravity is a puzzling force in that a mere hundred miles above our surface(no, not MS's Surface) it's force is nearly absent.
Of course, attaining that hundred miles is a beeatch.

100 feet is nothing...horizontally...100 feet is sudden death vertically.

Always pays to know up from across when deciding how far to go...":O}

We don't have the power to simply rise into space, it's 17,500 MPH for escape velocity or nothing. I read that we have a huge "UFO" that's six hundred feet across. The huge volume is required to contain a nuclear reactor that produces enough power to negate all but 12% of the force of gravity. Who knows what lurks within the confines of the black budget?

Two football field size flying machines seem preposterous. Difficult to hide as well. Yet the desert is large and full of no public access areas, so who really knows?

And who knew that Asrock isn't an Asus subsidiary any longer?

It was sold to another conglomerate recently. I bought one of their mainboards to use in a friend's machine a few years ago. No complaints. Lack of extra features isn't always a bad thing.

Moby Grape(a San Francisco sixties band) was a star crossed endeavor, if things had been a bit different I think they would have been huge.
