Angry P4 Chips

Which P4 chips are the good ones cause i heard that from a certain speed onwards the build was better than previous P4s, cause im sure that its just a complete myth about there ever actually being any P3 1.26 chips!!!

Pentium 3s are being released as tualatins up to 1.50ghz... confused about your P3 statement...

I've heard the 1.8ghz P4 overclocks to that core's peak, but as for steppings, I don't know.

check out this thread for the skinny.

Da OC PLace has an article I wrote comparing the Athlon XP and the Tualatin celeron (very close in pure power but Intel is lacking in memory bandwidth).

Hey there..

this question is sorta in the line of this thread...

anybody know if the P4 1.8ghz was made in anything but the .16 architecture? I think everything below 1.7 is .18 but i'm not sure about the 1.8..

There are A FEW 1.6 and 1.8 P4 Northwoods out there, but its unlikely we ever get a hold of them, I think.

Be on the lookout for these Sspecs:
SL63X and SL62P for 1.8GHz 0.13 micron P4s.

I think this article gives you the answers:
