lotza frost tho.. could have problems if ya actually did it in a case.. interesting to see if someone could get that type of a system rigged (without the duct tape)

That really wasn't the point (and most that use Liquid Nitrogen cover the motherboard with plastic to avoid the frosting/condensation). Functionally this is a disaster, but at least it shows the uppermost region this core will handle under extreme conditions. My guess is they have the best chips fabricated and intended to run at default voltages aronud 3.1/3.2 ghz... right now, we're probably not seeing the best of the best of the processors being made released to the public (yet).

I wonder how fast that Northwood would run with a water cooled peltier setup. LN2 is fine for goofing around with but I would like to see a more permanent salution.

As an Intel die hard that recently converted to AMD fanaticism, I find these repeated BM's that show the superiority in performance of P4's over Athlon XP's distressing. Kindly cease and desist calling the membership's attention to this. Thank you!
