You do know mobos are somtimes way off on reading specs..

note, that is not really 7GHz, the bios has some problems..

It did crash due to instability once he started doing anything cpu intensive. We just found the problem as well. First, his heatsink was so plugged with dust that the fan was moving no heat off it. Second, the bios wasnt updated and with a bios flash, temps went down in between 75-85 degrees before cleaning, much lower after cleaning.

I hate to admit it but you were definately right alexkerhead. It wasnt crashing and it was working really well but the temps were up in between 75 and 85 so we took a temperature monitor and mounted it right next to the core and we were getting temps like 45-55 after the cleanout. Bios was off by about 30 degrees. Never trust seanix computers.

dont worry about it, I have burned up so many CPUs, I should now the difference, and am glad to see you and your friend are having uber fun with the cpu adventures..
