Centrino 900mhz with 256mb Ram - Enough to run XP?

Hi there,

Just wondering about the Centrino 900mhz with 256mb Ram - Are the spex good enough for it to run XP?

900mhz is such a small CPU speed compared to the AMD Athlons, Pentium 4s etc.. I mean im not sure where it places on the scales of the Pentium 4s and AMDs.

Thanks in advance

Offie

Sure, it will run fine. Heck, I'm running XP on my laptop, an old PentiumII with 160 megs of RAM. It runs surprisingly well, I might add. I mainly use it for coding+compiling, and a bit of word processing.

Send a message via MSN to Pitch

Despite the low clock speeds, centrinos are suprisingly powerful.

Good deal, offie - congrats! How about posting a picture or two, when you get it?
