How do you remove the heatsink from HP motherboard?

How do you remove the processor's heatsink from a HP motherboard?

I am looking to put the 3.0E P4 + HT processor in another motherboard, but don't know how to remove the two clasps the run parallel to each other on top of the heatsink.

Anyone know?

MACHINE IN QUESTION:
HP Media Center PC: m470n

Here is my machine:

HP m470n Media Center PC
P4 3.0E GHz w/ HT (overclocked to 3.3 GHz)
ASUS 4PSD-LA motherboard
ICS 952606
1GB PC3200 DDR
160GB Maxtor ATA133
BenQ DW822a Dual Layer Burner
ATI Raedon 9200
Conexant 23880 TV/Capture

There is nothing in the HP manual about how to take off the heatsink and remove the processor. I would to take out the processor and put it in a shuttle XPC. Is this possible?

I'm not familiar with the Prescott way of doing things. With a P4 2.4C there are two white "levers" on the top of the heatsink. If HP used an OEM HSF from Intel and this HSF is physically the same as the HSF that Intel includes with its retail boxed P4 C's, you simply unlatch the two white levers and lift off the HSF assembly.

There are 2 white "levers" that run parallel to each other on the top of the heatsink. How do I remove them though? With a screwdriver?

They should simply lift up at one end and pivot at the other. They will have opposite orientations to each other.

Meh! Do not use a screwdriver. You shouldn't have to.

I'm going to agree with Alex on this one...baby steps on this operation. Lol.
