Send a message via MSN to mookydooky

You're probably getting a memory error. Reset the CMOS and try booting back up at stock speeds.

Welcome to AOA Forums, helpmeone!

When your BIOS needs clearing, the best way to do it is:

Unplug your machine's Power Supply from the power strip.

Carefully remove the BIOS's 'button' battery from its holder.

Wait fifteen minutes.

Put the battery back in and button up the case.

Plug the Power Supply into the power strip.

Some folks say it's best to put the jumper into the Clear Memory position for ten minutes, too. Remember to put that jumper back into its normal position before powering up if you choose to do this.
