Question looking for specks on COGNAC 20010412

have a COGNAC 20010412 motherboard, intel celeron 955mhs, looking for specks on the board and wondering if i can put an intel pentium III into it. // x86 family 6 model 8 stepping 10 955 mhz
100 mhz front side bus
phoenix bios 2.3 512 mb memory win xp
philps 52x cd-rom / hp cdwriter 32b
ac/ 97 audio / geforce mx/mx400 64 mb/pci
seagate harddrives 80 gig / 40 gig

not sure on the specs on the petium III tryed it once already but noticed system started to hang. should i skip putting the pIII in and use what i got tell i find a new mother board. just wondering how much this old board can take lol

You need the serial number thats at the bottom of the screen on the post screen (when you first turn on) press the pause button to et long enough to read it. Put this in google and more often than not there is a wealth of info on the board
