| I saw no mention of even trying to boot an OS, but I didn't read the entire thread. I like to see records within the realm of the practical... But that's just me.

| well, but it kinda shows that maybe the 4ghz p4 is possible. It may take some of the best slices, and good cooling, but why not sell them as so? I mean really, would you pay extra is the CPU was guaranteed to go to a certain speed higher that what's out there now, provided you get it cool enough? I would, if it came with a warranty. top speed records aren't 24/7 stable anyway. I want my pc 24/7 stable.
