Angry Really need help about processor fan!

I purchased a Mascool procesor fan at tigerdirect.com. At the same time I purchased an Intel P4 socket 775 mobo. The problem is that at tigerdirect.com the fan appears to have a 4pin connector. Now that I recieved the fan, I can see that it it has a 3pin connector, and the motherboard's fan pins are 4. My question is: Is there a way that I can use that 3pin connector fan into my 4pin motherboard? or am I totally screwed? Let me know please.

I think all you need is an 3 to 4 or 4 to 3 pin adpater. Newegg has one for 1.99.

Welcome to the forums msanders!!!!

You should also be able to just install a different fan as well.

Has the current capacity standard for fan connectors on yomama boards been beefed up since the days of Delta Screamer 38's?

No, not your mother! A hypothetical maternal unit.
