Dell Precision 530

Anyone have one of these?

I picked one up off craigslist for pretty cheap.

Dual 1.7 Xeon
6x 36gig 10k drives
LSI raid card
2gigs ram
CDRW
420w PS
XP Pro
Crappy video card.

Figured it will make a good kickin around box.

I bet mine was cheaper. Long story short, we were at a copier return wharehouse and spotted this in the corner covered w/ dust. Dell Prescion 530. Dual 2.8HT Xeons, Battery backup w/ startup shutdown controller, 1G RIMM, and a crapload of others. The guy was like "I dont know what that thing is, 50 bucks" I figured "ok" lol.

It sounds like a fairly decent server to me, do you run it as a server or something else?

Yeah, we run it as a fileserver for my fathers company. I plan on designing and bulding his website for him to run as well.
