You know Daniel I think we should just stand pat with our boards at this time. The new board is nice with it's voltage dampening and it's and OC ability but the P38 is on the way and I have been reading eva2000's exploits with this board and I just don't see any advantage for us. Were I getting my first board I would definately consider it. Or if I had my hands on a Quad core as eva had no probs reaching 3600mhz with it and a quad core as a matter of fact when he dropped the multi to 8 he was able to run his Quad at 475 fsb for a speed of 3800! now that is a sweet OC with a quad. So for the time being I'll just hangout and see what summer brings. WZ |

The chipset is a very very good overclocker but it is a mainstream chipset whilst the one in our p5wdh is a high end / enthusiast / extreme chipset (hence the x) The X38 is the one to replace our boards with and it is indeed not to far away although this one hasnt officially launched yet! Price wise its lets than i originally paid for the p5w atm .. However the P5K3 Deluxe (the top of the line variant) is more expensive at £200!
