It's almost 1PM in Seattle and 85F, do you know where your cores are?

Hello all you Core 2 Duo fans! I'm at 41C cores 58/58 at idle.... of course I had to drop from 3700 to 3 gigs flat, but I did finally get to use PC 8500.

Only lost around 300 points in 3Dmarks 2006. I was wondering how my better halves are doing?

I managed to kill my motherboard and I needed a board quick so I grabbed an Abit IP35 to hold me over until X38 based boards hit the shelves.

Feels like a decent board, performance at stock clocks is about 5% better than my 680i and 965 based boards. I'll start beating up on it this weekend and report my findings.

I really need to move my computer room to a non west facing wall. It gets a little warm in the evening after the sun has been beating on the brick all day.

I currently have a room temp of 27C (81F ish) since i've lost my cool outside air for my main radiator i have had to back off my overclock a little. However its due to vista being abit quirky more than unstable.

I have had to drop to 3.45GHz (from 3.5 due to ati instabililty, 3.6 before that ..) since for some reason at 3.5GHz or above the asus wifi adapter refuses to find any networks and since im now on wifi i kinda need it!

However i do have some toys coming in the post (250w peltier, 540w single rail 10-18v psu ) which i may play with the conroe until i get a kentsfield (250w peltier at best will pump 125w, kents at stock is 130w!) when it will become a glorified drinks cooler

It was perfect today...

little rain early morning that gave you a nice moisture in the air.
High of 76F with light cloud cover.

Other than that, I'm right now stable @ 445x7 on my E6320.
Using a TT VX Typhoon... good stuff =) Idle @ 39C load @ 51C

Got up to 85F today (about 30C). Our average is about 5 degrees higher than that, so we've had a mild summer so far, and I don't expect that to change. I'll be amazed if we hit 95 before summer's over. Normally, we would hit 100 at least once or twice.

Unfortunately, we've also had an extraordinarily wet spring and summer, which I had actually expected after the last 2 summers being so hot and dry (these things go in cycles, you see...).

Like the Big C says 94F. Weather wise, I think we are all drifting into "expect the unexpected" territory. Will someone explain how you do that! ":O}

Around 90 yesterday, mid-80's today and very humid both days. Hard to tell what my core temps would be with the A/C on all day!

OK! OK! I started this thread so I guess I have to take it back. But I'd be worried about brown outs if I let my body become lax and weak when put to the fire...which I did and so I do! It's only a fan, but it's my life line! ":O}

my peltier has arrived but the power supply for it wont be until mid next week
Since its going to drink juice like there is no tomorrow i may dabble with it and my cpu before i go quad core, in the end however its destined to live out its life as a drinks cooler
