Asus Blitz Extreme & Formula

Follow as Legion Hardware take a look at these two boards:

ASUS has just recently announced two new special edition motherboards based on the Intel P35 chipset, called the Blitz Formula and Blitz Extreme. With an estimated combined value of nearly $600 US, these new Blitz motherboards are anything but cheap. Rather they are designed to be ultimate performance motherboards for Core 2 Duo processors, offering the very best features and overclocking abilities.

They are nice X38 boards, however i'd like to see two ide slots on boards still, some of us do still have several 'rom drives and the odd ide drive in use.

however i'd much rather have one of These image from the inquirer article Intel Skulltrail supports SLI, Quad SLI

Nice little clear cmos button. These are crazy boards. Asus seems to be setting the bar for high end boards.

And if your printer is 15 feet, ~5 meters from your box, a parallel port beats USB by miles.
