Blue screen?

I recently built a new system consisting of:
evga 680i
x1300 <-- yea i know not the right board but it was 20$
q6600
crucial ballistix 4gb
and a 500 gb wd hd

and when ever i leave my computer on over night or long periods i would come back and find that my comp is in a blue screen any ideas?

99% likely there is a driver problem.
Often it has to do with graphics drivers, but it could be any one.

About the middle of the screen it should give you a file name (sometimes it doesn't though), could you also take down the 1st 2 lines of the hex numbers. I should be able to find out what driver it is from there.

Also, if you could provide full system specs, brand and model of what you have (just number and size of HDD's is fine), especially include your PSU.

Main thing was the PSU and what the power draw was like.

Seems those are well within specs.

All we need now is that file / hex numbers (0Xxxxxxxxx). It probably is your graphics card though.

Basically you will need to do the following if it is a driver

1. dl drviercleaner (from AOA files), and install.
2. dl the latest driver for the device
3. Uninstall driver
4. reboot to safemode, run drivercleaner to remove last bit of driver
4. reboot to normal mode
5. cancel windows auto install, then install latest driver.

6. wait and see.
