I don't doubt that it will be a great performer. But this code name has got to go!

Cloasters?

Remember the glass houses thing and throwing stones. I know you are from an area of earth called location location. which isn't such a great code name either.
I can tell you are not from the N.W. United States. If you were you would know of the absolute scenic beauty of a little bay on the Northern Oregon Coast known as "Nehalem Bay". Which is fed from the inland by the "Nehalem River". Both were named for the after the "Nehalem Indians"
that call the area their home. Intel remember is based in this area so it makes sense. Towns like Tualitin Oregon, Arlington Oregon, NorthWoods,
you see these are all common to us in the Pacific Northwest corner of the US. Copper mines very common to the Northwest U.S. and so on and so on. Odd to you, all common to me. Remember as you put it location location.

My chip is named after a Hebrew thing, since it was designed by the only intel engineers that aren't morons (the Israelis).

btw, Prescott is actually a North Oregon Native American word as well that means "Chip that burns like flaming arrow and benchmarks like lame donkey"

Roughly translated from the original tongue.

Well! I've been taken to task, ya got me, pard. I've inhabited Seattle for a quarter of a century, but I'm obviously ignorant of Oregonian geographical facts. I still don't like the name, sbt.

Well perhaps one day you will venture down the coast and see Nehalem Bay in person. it is a lovely place. However if you are tired of driving when heading south you just let me know before hand and I will show you a much nicer bay!! And yes they should name a processor after it too! Willipa Bay on the long Beach Pennisula. We have lot there right in between the ocean and the bay. it's about .5 mile to either. We have a 35ft.5th wheel and a 16ft. TT we use for a guest bedroom. We clam and crab there and just relax. here of late I have been working 6 and 7 days per week and will not have any time till february to get there again. but once this onslaught of work is over. there will be plenty of good weather, fishing ,clamming and crabbing to get back to. that goes for any of you regulars in here. If you head to the coast or want to give me some notice. It's a beautiful place. Pack your cameras (danrok) cuz there are plenty of things to shoot! Here is a link to my "Small Paradise".
Some of the penninsula is touristy but not up where I have my place.

What a nice guy! I've been to Ocean Shores a few times, but never to Long Beach for some unknown reason. Long Beach is said to be nicer, I'll say howdy if I ever get there. Thank you for your most generous offer!

Hey it would be our pleasure, My wife, my son and I. It is very laid back We have no TV reception there though we do have a TV and once in awhile we watch a DVD and eat some popcorn. We have no internet connection but we bring the laptop for dumping pictures too and as our juke box as we have a set of powered speakers we use outside. We mostly clean the place and work as winter brings blown down trees. But we also find the time to clam, boat, crab, walk up to the twin capes lighthouses, play on the beach it is a low pressure time there.
When I was a boy we used to clam dig at Ocean Shores.

It's a very good thing that a few of us can still live as you are able to.

No tv. It's GOT to be a blessing, I get so tube-ized it's not funny. And I watch PBS most of the time. Talk about dreck, from sea to shining sea. It's good to know that some folks know how to keep the crud out of their minds!
