Wheres my Q9450 FFS

Got the cash on hand, just bought a new mounting kit to fit my watercooler to an LGA775 board, picked out the motherboard I want (ASUS striker II 780i), picked out the RAM I want (4X 2GB DDR800). Picked out the GPU I want, (cheap Albatron 8800GT should do nicely for cheap).

But... I want my 45nm quad core, to go under teh waterblock, and overclock into the sky.

So the question, as presented in the title:

WHERE's DSIO's FREAKING YORKFIELD.

I wants it, I wants it now, I have teh money in my pocket waiting to give it to intel but they won't turn up with a damn processor. Its been three months, this is like Barcelona all over again.

To sum up:

I want my Q9450
I want it now
Stop ****ing around.
Give it to me.
It better OC like hell.
Hurry the **** up.
I'm getting pissed off.
I know where you bastards live.
I don't give a rat's arse if the chips don't work on cheap mobos, IM NOT BUYING A CHEAP MOBO.
The Striker is $420, I could buy a Ford for that.
Let the people with ghetto mobo's wait.
Nobody liked them anyway.

To clarify for those unfamiliar:

The Q9450 is the entry level 45nm Quad core 12MB cache chip, running at 2.66Ghz. Should be ~$316 at release.

Given that the WolfDale's are overclocking monsters, and that I'm intending to run this thing on water in a very high end motherboard, I'm expecting over 4Ghz here.

Its bad enough that I'm buying an Intel system. I feel like one of the Jews that joined the Nazis in policing their own people in the ghettos during the holocaust. Or like Judas.

Its bad enough that they've made me betray my people, but to make me wait three months for the priviliage of doing so is so much worse.

Are you certain that Intel is building these in quantity? No rocket, please. I'm just asking.

Word is they're churning out 100,000 45nm CPUs per day atm, but I'm not sure what the breakdown of that would be. I'd imagine the server market would get first service.

You should get yours the day after I get mine. I used my pull in the industry to be able to buy one the day they come out in retail channels..

Knowing the retailers in Australia it could take a few weeks for them to get it, thats what scares me.

I wonder if purchasing it here and air dropping it to you would still be within budget and timeframe.

Have the Xeons gone to 45 nm, too? That may indeed be a problem.

Indeed they have, I've actually seen 45nm Xeons available at some datacenters already.

Tigerdirect now has the new Q9300 for 3 bills. Not exactly what you want though...
Not sure how these would overclock. Lower multiplier & higher FSB...hmm.
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Processor EU80580PJ0606M - 2.50GHz, 6MB Cache, 1333MHz FSB, Yorkfield, Quad-Core, OEM, Socket 775, Processor at TigerDirect.com

and Newegg has the QX9650, but the price is just stupid at over $1000!
Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 Yorkfield 3.0GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 130W Quad-Core Processor - Retail

A little pricey for me. I wonder if these will work in my Evga 680i board.

After bouncing a few emails back and forth it looks like I can get OEM units at the end of this month, They will not give me a date on retail boxed units though. If you were going to get an OEM unit I could probably save you a couple of weeks, but I'd prefer to have the retail box as it makes them much easier to resell.

If it comes down to it and there is any way I can help, I will..

I have to dump one of my Q6600's fairly soon before the bottom falls out on price, once I do that I'll be using an E2140 until I get mine.

I'm sticking it under a waterblock anyway, so OEM is fine. Was raiding Black Temple today and on the Shade of Akama fight the machine chugged so badly that I couldn't do anything during heavy AOE fire. What kind of price would they be?

They shot me a "tentative price" of $359, I'm working on a guaranteed price of a little lower than that but we'll see how they respond.

If you could let me know when you've got something firm, I'll arrange some cash by email.
