| A good all around tool for machine spanking... Hey folks... Do you have any recommendations for a good solution to spanking a new machine? This has been a general concern of mine as I build my own machines, but also deploy new machines (Dells, Thinkpads etc) for other customers. So often, a simple 24 routine of punishment for new hardware can crack the machine before I put in a pile of effort to give it to a customer. Recommendations? I understand Orthos would probably be a stability tester for memory and cpu...

| I have been using a combination of prime95 and 3dmark so far. They have been doing a good job of funding unstable situations for me.

| DAMN! I've been trying to think of the Name of Prime95 all morning! LOL SuperPI is a good ram runner, if it's flawed, it will say so! ":O} (You can get them all @ AOAfiles.)

| I can't think of a an app that does a good enough job in all aspects to burn in a computer. I use prime95, 3DMark2001 looping, memtest, and then I will use P7zip to extract and compress very large files (usually a HD movie) for hard drive testing.
