OC Specs vary

I've seen this discrepency for a while in CPUZ but now it's in OCCT as well. I'm OC'ed to 2745MHZ but the programs wont always show that.
You can't read it but the final results for OCCT is 1830 with a x6 multiplier. Is there a reason this is happening? Does it make much difference?
I'm going to OC the 9600Gt and see about that,

It's caused by C1E being enabled in the bios. Disable it to keep the multi the same.

If you leave C1E on, and set CPU voltage to auto it will lower the multi to 6 and drop CPU volts to 1.0 when the computer is at idle or low load as a power save feature.

Yea, OCCT starts the test at idle for 1 min then kicks into high gear.
That's why it's showing the slower speeds when you have EIST & C1E enabled.

The absolutely best thing about computers-learning.
Picked up 2 free computers this morn. 1 is DOA but I got a beep out of it ao I could get it back up-a Compaq Pll of some sort. On the back burner. I'll Slap it together after a while ans sell it on Craigs List for $25. 1/4 PSU!
I just booted the other-might make $50 0n it. Plll of some sort. Compaq Presiro with original win 98 disk, DVD burner.Zip drive.Game port, 2 USB and a 1394 port, all in front. Mid-size tower. And it's password protected.
Any body know a relatively legal way to deal with that?
I relay do not want to go to the places I would need to go to solve it myself.

If anyone knows how, and if you don't please ask some friends, I would greatly appreciate it!
Michael
