Thumbs up The build is over

I'm declaring a complete success on the new build. It's done, it's over.
I have an all night prime95 test to run yet but that is mainly on the OC. It passed for an hour, which I didn't think it would, so I'll start it just before bed time.
At this point, temps are 28c +- no load and 39+- full load-thats with GPU & SMP Clients running OCCT.
It just feels good.
I have the case to finish modding because of an error in the hight of the HSF. To tall to put on that side panel!
And I want to format and start clean now that everything has the bugs worked out of it as to do a decent back-up.
But all in all-it's done!
Many Thanks to those who have helped along the way, to many to name but you know who you are. Thank you.
I never, in my wildest dreams, thought I would have a rig like this!

Talking

It's great when you got a new system that does that for you!
The new system I'm using now did that for me too when I first got it upgrading from the old P4 2.4 I was using.
This system currently is 83% faster than my old one...
I'm sure it's the same for your new system too!

Congrats on a good solid build there Mike!
You should be proud at this accomplishment!!!

Proud, happy, ecstatic, sexually aroused, wanting a juicy t-bone and lobster! All of that and more.

When I started-it seems like a year ago-I was running an Athlon XP 2400+ and an Epox 8K5A2+ mobo.

I just looked at my records and I ordered the Biostar motherboard on 6/19/08 so it's been 6 months.

just a coincidence but this rig is in the same case as the Athlon XP 2400+ that I started with!

What would it hurt to just "suppose" it works until we need it!? ":O}

I've been working for two days to get mine to work in x64. I just found a shareware program for the scanner and I "think' I can use the printer. Here is a link to the x64 scanner software.
