Your CPU scores are fairly consistent between runs. The GPU score is due to the difference in the baseline: the 'Entry' test uses a lower performing machine as the baseline for comparison.

ChrisBard should pop in here; he's done a fair amount of benchmarking with 3DMark and PCMark.

I suggest you read the benchmark section on Vantage to get an ideea of how others score. GPU score will be compared only with the similar level (entry with entry, high with high)

I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!

well reading that section, i see i score pretty well compared to others in there.

my 8400 does well, and my gtx280 is nice. i would like to find a second BFG Tech GTX280oc edition to SLI my system, but for some reason looks like the 280's are almost obsolete or something...

might sell my 280 and step up to a GTX295 after xmas
