| the article says Lynnfield i5 chip can only run SLI & Crossfire in 8x8 mode instead of 16x16 mode. Does that mean they are eliminating the northbridge chipset? My Asus board can do 16x16 SLI with the nforce chipset how is the Lynnfield an upgrade? I looked at some motherboards on newegg.com and they answered my question. Kiss SLI & Crossfire at 16x16 with the i5 chip. I thought 16x16 battle was over and all SLI/Crossfire motherboards would support it. Guess I was wrong. I'm leaning more towards the i7 already. Of course I could never afford it, but in 2 years it won't be $1000 anymore.
