client build

just got this GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
with a i5 2500 for a friend of mine. Now the question is can this motherboard and cpu run a big monitor no problem? It has an hdmi out on the back of the mobo.

The CPU has Intel HD Graphics 2000 built-in.

Which I believe has a max. resolution of 2560x1600.

But I'd expect it would be slow at the resolution.

The size of the monitor, in inches, won't make a difference.

For gaming, it would probably work fine driving a 1080p 24 inch monitor.

oh yea the monitor is this Newegg.com - ASUS VS248H-P Black 24" 2ms HDMI LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1 24in 1920 x 1080. There will be no "real" games being played on this computer, but i wanted to make sure that this can handle some blu rays and big monitors.

Bigger is often better, but 19" is good enough for me for now.
